WELLESLEY, Mass., Nov 30,2018 – The Asia-Pacific region is expected to see a boom in demand for embedded systems over the next five years, according to the new BCC Research report “Embedded Systems: Technologies and Asia-Pacific Markets.” This regional market is expected to reach nearly $100 billion in 2023 at a 5-year compound annual growth rate of 5.8% from 2018-2023.
The Asia-Pacific market for embedded systems is largely driven by factors such as significant growth in consumer electronics demand, growing Internet of Things (IoT), growing connected cars market and increasing usage of robotics. However, the market for embedded systems in Asia-Pacific is restrained due to increasing security concerns towards embedded systems.
